Thomas Joseph, MD

A lifelong resident of Mahoning Valley, Dr. Joseph is a Sports Medicine fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in shoulder and knee surgery. He has extensive experience with rotator cuff surgery, shoulder replacement, ACL reconstruction and both partial and total knee replacement. He has pioneered outpatient joint replacement at our center and has performed over 1000 outpatient shoulder and knee replacement procedures. He teaches shoulder replacement technique on a national level and uses arthroscopy, robotics, platelet gel therapy and pain management strategies to minimize pain and promote more rapid recovery.
