James Solmen, MD

About Me

Dr. Solmen is a Foot and Ankle fellowship-trained surgeon specializing in specific problems of the foot and ankle. His practice concentrates on fracture care, adult reconstruction (bunions, hammertoes, and neuromas), degenerative and post-traumatic arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes, neurologic disorders and sports injuries. Dr. Solmen is a native of Youngstown and is actively involved in the teaching and training of residents from local orthopaedic surgery and podiatric residency programs. He is also the only fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon in the Youngstown area.
